This panel brings together leading experts to highlight the most exciting ASAP advances for the next 40 years – here “ASAP” means application-specific systems, architectures, processors and related topics, rather than the ASAP conference itself.
The format would be: 5-minute presentation by each panelist, followed by interactions with the audience. The panelists are invited to address the following questions, or anything else related to the theme of “ASAP in 2066” in their 5-minute presentations:
- an example of an exciting advance in ASAP in 2066?
- what foundational breakthroughs in ASAP you want to see in 2066?
- what applications would see the greatest changes?
- what topics and technologies would stay almost the same as now?
- how would AI impact ASAP advances?
- what would ASAP teaching and research be like in 2066?
