This panel brings together leading experts to highlight the most exciting ASAP advances in the last 40 years – here “ASAP” means application-specific systems, architectures, processors and related topics, rather than the ASAP conference itself.
The format would be: 5-minute presentation by each panelist, followed by interactions with the audience. The panelists are invited to address the following questions, or anything else related to the theme of “ASAP Advances in the Last 40 Years” in their 5-minute presentations:
- an example of an exciting advance in ASAP in the last 40 years?
- what foundational breakthroughs in ASAP took place since 1986?
- what applications have been revolutionised since 1986?
- what topics and technologies have barely changed since 1986?
- how has AI impact ASAP advances?
- how ASAP teaching and research have changed since 1986?
